Telfast

Telfast 120 mg tablets are an antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms of hay fever and other allergies in adults and children 12 years and older, such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy nose, and watery eyes.

How to Use

Dosage

One tablet (120 mg) once a day.

Method

Take the tablet with water before a meal.

Important

Do not exceed one tablet (120 mg) per day.

  • Hives (urticaria)
  • Severe allergic reactions causing swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, redness, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing
  • Blurred vision

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Telfast if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have liver or kidney problems, if you have or have had heart disease (as this medicine can cause a fast or irregular heartbeat), or if you are elderly.
  • If you take antacids containing aluminum or magnesium, take them at least 2 hours apart from Telfast, as they can reduce the effect of Telfast.
  • Do not use Telfast during pregnancy unless your doctor considers it essential, and it is not recommended during breastfeeding.
  • Make sure these tablets don't make you feel tired or dizzy before driving or using machines.

  • If your symptoms do not improve within 5 days of starting treatment, contact your doctor.
  • Stop taking Telfast and seek immediate medical help if you experience swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing, as these could be signs of a severe allergic reaction.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in moderately severe renal impairment. May cause fatigue. (updated 19.9.2025)
