How to Use

Dosage

One 30 mg tablet, twice a day.

Method

Take the tablet with water.

Important

The maximum daily dose is two 30 mg tablets (60 mg).

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if your child is allergic to fexofenadine or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Talk to a doctor if your child has liver or kidney problems.
  • Talk to a doctor if your child has or has had heart problems, as this medicine can cause a fast or irregular heartbeat.
  • Tell your doctor if your child is taking apalutamide (a medicine for prostate cancer), as Telfast may not work as well.
  • If your child takes antacids for upset stomach that contain aluminum or magnesium, take Telfast at least 2 hours apart from them.

  • Stop using this medicine and see a doctor right away if your child has swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or has trouble breathing. These are signs of a severe allergic reaction.
