This medicine is used to help doctors examine the structure and function of your kidneys in adults and children.
For adults, the usual dose is between 30 and 120 MBq. For children and teenagers, the dose is calculated based on their weight.
This medicine is given as an injection, usually into a vein in your arm. You will be asked to drink plenty of water and urinate frequently after the injection and before the examination.
A single injection is usually enough for the examination. The dose will be the smallest amount needed to get the necessary information.
