How to Use

Dosage

Take one Tasminetta 0.02 mg/3 mg tablet.

Method

Take one tablet every day with a little water, with or without food, at roughly the same time. Follow the arrows on the blister pack for 21 days, then have a 7-day break before starting a new pack.

Important

One tablet per day as prescribed.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Mood changes
  • Headache
  • Abdominal pain
  • Acne
  • Breast pain, tenderness, or enlargement
  • Painful or irregular periods
  • Weight gain
RARE
  • Fungal infection
  • Cold sores (herpes simplex)
  • Allergic reactions
  • Increased appetite
  • Depression, nervousness, trouble sleeping
  • Tingling sensation, dizziness
  • Visual disturbances
  • Irregular or fast heartbeat
  • Dangerous blood clots in a leg, lung, heart (heart attack), brain (stroke), liver, stomach/intestines, kidneys or eyes
  • Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, constipation
  • Sudden swelling of face, tongue, throat with difficulty swallowing or breathing (angioedema), hair loss, eczema, itching, rashes, dry or oily skin
  • Neck pain, limb pain, muscle cramps
  • Bladder infection
  • Breast lumps (benign or cancerous), ovarian cysts, hot flashes, missed or heavy periods, vaginal discharge or dryness, lower abdominal pain, abnormal Pap test result, decreased sex drive
  • Fluid retention, weakness, intense thirst, increased sweating, weight loss

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you have or have had a blood clot in your leg, lung, or other part of your body.
  • Do not take if you have had a heart attack or stroke.
  • Do not take if you have severe liver disease or cancer.
  • Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • This medication does not protect against HIV (AIDS) or other sexually transmitted infections.
