How to Use

Dosage

Take one 10 mg/5 mg tablet every 12 hours. Your doctor will tell you the exact dose.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Do not break, crush, or chew the tablet. Take it at the same times each day.

Important

Do not take more than 160 mg of oxycodone and 80 mg of naloxone in one day.

Possible Side Effects

  • Feeling sick to your stomach (nausea) or throwing up (vomiting)
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Dry mouth
  • Stomach pain or gas
  • Feeling sleepy (drowsiness) or tired
  • Headache
  • Dizziness or feeling like you're spinning
  • Sweating or hot flashes
  • Itchy skin or skin reactions
  • Decreased appetite
RARE
  • Allergic reactions (like rash or swelling)
  • Feeling restless, anxious, or confused
  • Depression or nervousness
  • Changes in thinking or difficulty concentrating
  • Muscle cramps, twitches, or pain
  • Tremors (shaking)
  • Seizures (fits)
  • Blurred vision
  • Chest pain or fast heartbeat
  • Trouble breathing or shallow breathing
  • Low or high blood pressure
  • Swelling in hands, ankles, or feet
  • Changes in sex drive or problems with erection
  • Withdrawal symptoms (if you stop the medicine)
  • Feeling extremely happy (euphoria) or having nightmares
  • Yawning or hiccups
  • Weight changes

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to oxycodone, naloxone, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have severe breathing problems or severe lung disease.
  • Avoid alcohol and grapefruit juice while taking this medicine, as they can cause serious side effects.
  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems.
  • This medicine can make you sleepy or fall asleep suddenly. Do not drive or operate machines if this happens.

  • If you stop taking this medicine suddenly after long-term use, you may experience withdrawal symptoms like restlessness, sweating, and muscle pain. Talk to your doctor before stopping.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Sedative. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Increases the risk of confusion and falling. Need for laxative is often necessary. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 24.3.2025)
