How to Use

Dosage

Take one capsule (0.4 mg) once a day.

Method

Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water after your first meal of the day. Do not crush, chew, or open it. Take it while standing or sitting.

Important

Do not take more than one capsule (0.4 mg) per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Dizziness, especially when standing up from sitting or lying down.
  • Problems with ejaculation, including no ejaculation or semen going into the bladder.
RARE
  • Headache.
  • Palpitations (feeling your heart beat fast).
  • Low blood pressure, especially when standing up quickly, which can cause dizziness.
  • Runny or blocked nose.
  • Constipation.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Nausea and vomiting.
  • Weakness.
  • Skin rashes.
  • Itching.
  • Hives (itchy red bumps).
  • Fainting.
  • Abnormal or irregular heartbeat (like atrial fibrillation or fast heart rate).
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Vision problems or blurred vision.
  • Nosebleed.
  • Dry mouth.
  • Sudden severe swelling of the face, tongue, or throat with trouble breathing (angioedema).
  • Severe skin reactions with rash, inflammation, and blisters on lips, eyes, mouth, nose, or genitals (Stevens-Johnson syndrome).
  • Painful, prolonged erection of the penis that needs urgent medical help (priapism).
  • Skin rash with blisters that look like small target spots (erythema multiforme).
  • Widespread red rash with small pus-filled blisters (exfoliative dermatitis).

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Tamsurion if you are allergic to tamsulosin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take Tamsurion if you have severe liver problems.
  • Do not take Tamsurion if you have fainted from low blood pressure when standing up quickly.
  • You need regular doctor visits to check your condition.
  • If you feel dizzy or faint, sit or lie down until you feel better.
