How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is 10 mg before sexual activity; your doctor may increase it to 20 mg if needed.

Method

Take the tablet whole with water, by mouth, at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. It can be taken with or without food. The tablet can be divided. Its effect can last up to 36 hours.

Important

Do not take Tadalafil STADA Nordic more than once a day.

  • Distorted, dimmed, or blurry central vision or sudden vision loss (frequency unknown)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredients.
  • Do not take if you use medicines called nitrates for chest pain.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart problems, have had a heart attack in the last 90 days, or a stroke in the last 6 months.
  • Tell your doctor if you have low or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
  • Do not take if you have ever lost vision due to 'stroke in the eye' (NAION).

  • Do not take if you use riociguat for high blood pressure in the lungs.
  • Tell your doctor if you have sickle cell anemia, blood cancer, a deformed penis, or severe liver or kidney problems.
  • Stop taking this medicine and call your doctor right away if you suddenly lose or have changes in your vision or hearing.
  • This medicine is not for women or anyone under 18 years old.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Reduce the dose in liver impairment. Significant adverse reactions include hypotension, ortostatic hypotension, headache and visual disturbances. Consider the numerous potential interactions,especially with nitrates. Avoid grapefruit.
