How to Use

Dosage

One 20 mg tablet before sexual activity.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with some water. You can take it with or without food.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you are using organic nitrates or nitric oxide donors (medicines for chest pain).
  • Do not take if you have a serious heart condition or have had a heart attack in the last 90 days.
  • Do not take if you have had a stroke in the last 6 months.
  • Do not take if you have low or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

  • Do not take if you have ever lost vision due to 'eye stroke' (non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy).
  • Do not take if you are using riociguat (a medicine for high blood pressure in the lungs).
  • Stop taking this medicine and see a doctor right away if you experience sudden decrease or loss of vision, distorted or blurred vision, chest pain, an erection that lasts more than 4 hours (priapism), or severe allergic reactions (e.g., rash, swelling of face/throat).
  • Stop taking this medicine and see a doctor right away if you experience sudden decrease or loss of hearing.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Reduce the dose in liver impairment. Significant adverse reactions include hypotension, ortostatic hypotension, headache and visual disturbances. Consider the numerous potential interactions,especially with nitrates. Avoid grapefruit.
