How to Use

Dosage

One 5 mg tablet once a day.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, at the same time each day.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are using nitrates or riociguat for chest pain or high blood pressure in the lungs, as it can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe heart disease, have had a heart attack (in the last 3 months) or a stroke (in the last 6 months), or if you have low or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
  • Stop using the medicine and contact a doctor immediately if you experience sudden blurred or lost vision.
  • Stop using the medicine and contact a doctor immediately if you experience sudden hearing loss or decrease.

  • If an erection lasts longer than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention (priapism).
  • Tell your doctor if you have sickle cell anemia, bone marrow, blood, or liver cancer, a deformed penis, or severe kidney or liver disease.
  • This medicine is not for women, children, or adolescents under 18 years of age.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category C

Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose already in mild renal impairment. Reduce the dose in liver impairment. Significant adverse reactions include hypotension, ortostatic hypotension, headache and visual disturbances. Consider the numerous potential interactions,especially with nitrates. Avoid grapefruit.
