How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose is one 5 mg tablet once a day, taken around the same time each day; your doctor may adjust the dose to 2.5 mg.

Method

Take the tablet whole with water, with or without food.

Important

Do not take more than one Tadalafil Accord tablet per day.

  • Allergic reactions, including rash
  • Chest pain (do not take nitrates, seek medical help immediately)
  • Priapism (prolonged and possibly painful erection lasting over 4 hours)
  • Sudden vision loss or severe vision changes
  • Dizziness
  • Stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, heartburn
  • Blurred vision, eye pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Prolonged erection
  • Blood in urine
  • Palpitations, rapid heart rate, high or low blood pressure
  • Nosebleeds, ringing in ears
  • Swelling of hands, feet, or ankles, tiredness
  • Fainting, seizures, temporary memory loss
  • Swelling of eyelids, red eyes
  • Sudden hearing loss
  • Hives/rash
  • Bleeding from penis, blood in semen, increased sweating
  • Heart attack, stroke
  • Partial, temporary, or permanent loss of vision
  • Migraine, facial swelling, severe allergic reactions, severe rash, blood flow disorders in the eye, irregular heartbeats, chest pain, sudden cardiac death
  • Distorted, dimmed, or blurred central vision, sudden vision loss

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to tadalafil or any other ingredients.
  • Do not take if you are using nitrate medicines for chest pain.
  • Do not take if you have a serious heart condition or have had a heart attack in the last 90 days.
  • Do not take if you have had a stroke in the last 6 months.
  • Do not take if you have low or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

  • Do not take if you have ever had 'stroke in the eye' (NAION).
  • Do not take if you are taking riociguat for lung high blood pressure.
  • Sexual activity can strain your heart; if you have heart problems, discuss with your doctor before use.
  • Tell your doctor if you have sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, a deformed penis, severe liver problems, or severe kidney problems.
  • Stop taking and see a doctor immediately if you experience sudden blurred or distorted vision, or loss of vision.
  • Stop taking and see a doctor immediately if you experience sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ears.
  • This medicine is not for women or children under 18 years old.
  • Avoid excessive alcohol as it can increase dizziness and affect erection ability.
