Sumatriptan Sandoz helps treat sudden migraine attacks, with or without warning signs, and should only be used if a doctor has confirmed you have migraines.
For adults aged 18-65, the usual dose is one 50 mg Sumatriptan Sandoz tablet. Some patients may need 100 mg. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Take it as soon as you feel a migraine coming on, but you can also take it later during an attack. Do not use it to prevent an attack.
Do not take more than 300 mg in any 24-hour period. This means a maximum of six 50 mg tablets or three 100 mg tablets.
