This medicine helps your muscles recover faster after surgery when muscle relaxants like rocuronium bromide or vecuronium bromide have been used.
The usual dose is 2-4 mg per kilogram of body weight for adults and children aged 2-17. A dose of 16 mg/kg may be used for adults needing faster recovery.
It is given as a single injection into a vein (intravenously).
Your anesthetist will decide your dose based on your weight and how much muscle relaxant you received; there is no standard 'maximum daily dose' for self-administration.
