How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 lozenge every 2 to 3 hours as needed.

Method

Let the lozenge slowly dissolve in your mouth.

Important

Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Allergic reaction (symptoms may include rash, swelling of the face or lips, hives, breathing difficulties, low blood pressure, and fainting).
  • Stomach pain, feeling sick, or discomfort in the mouth (including a burning or stinging feeling, and swelling of the mouth or throat).
  • Skin rash.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Strepsils Menthol if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
  • Be careful if you have diabetes, as this medicine contains sugar (glucose and sucrose).
  • Do not use if you have a wheat allergy (this is different from celiac disease).
  • Sulfites in the lozenges (sulfur dioxide) can cause serious allergic reactions and breathing problems.
  • The eucalyptus oil flavoring contains d-limonene, which can cause allergic reactions.

  • If your symptoms do not get better after 3 days, or if they get worse, see a doctor.
  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
  • Not suitable for children under 6 years old.
