How to Use
Dosage
Take 1 lozenge every 2 to 3 hours as needed.
Method
Let the lozenge slowly dissolve in your mouth.
Important
Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
Possible Side Effects
RARE
- •Allergic reaction (symptoms may include rash, swelling of the face or lips, hives, breathing difficulties, low blood pressure, and fainting).
- •Stomach pain, feeling sick, or discomfort in the mouth (including a burning or stinging feeling, and swelling of the mouth or throat).
- •Skin rash.
Important Warnings
- Do not use Strepsils Menthol if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
- Be careful if you have diabetes, as this medicine contains sugar (glucose and sucrose).
- Do not use if you have a wheat allergy (this is different from celiac disease).
- Sulfites in the lozenges (sulfur dioxide) can cause serious allergic reactions and breathing problems.
- The eucalyptus oil flavoring contains d-limonene, which can cause allergic reactions.

- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
- Not suitable for children under 6 years old.
