How to Use
Dosage
One lozenge every 2 to 3 hours as needed.
Method
Allow the lozenge to slowly dissolve in your mouth.
Important
Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
Possible Side Effects
RARE
•Allergic reactions, such as rash, swelling of the face or lips, hives, difficulty breathing (asthma-like symptoms), low blood pressure, or fainting.
RARE
•Stomach pain, feeling sick (nausea), and discomfort in the mouth, including burning or tingling sensation in the mouth or throat, and swelling of the mouth or throat.
RARE
•Skin rash.
Important Warnings
Do not take Strepsils Honey & Lemon if you are allergic to the active ingredients (2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol) or any other ingredients in this medicine.
If you have diabetes, be careful as Strepsils Honey & Lemon contains sugar (glucose and sucrose).
Do not use this medicine if you have a wheat allergy (this is different from celiac disease).
Sulfites in these lozenges can cause severe allergic reactions or asthma-like symptoms (difficulty breathing).
The flavorings in these lozenges contain ingredients that can cause allergic reactions.
