How to Use

Dosage

Use 3 sprays to the back of your throat.

Method

Spray directly to the back of your throat. Push the pump all the way down for each spray. Do not breathe in while spraying.

Important

Do not use more than 5 doses (15 sprays total) in a 24-hour period.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Feeling dizzy, headache
  • Soreness or irritation in the throat
  • Sores, pain, or numbness in your mouth
  • Sore throat
  • Unusual feelings in your mouth, like warmth or tingling
  • Feeling sick (nausea) and diarrhea
  • Tingling or itching on your skin
RARE
  • Feeling sleepy
  • Blisters in your mouth or throat, numb feeling in throat
  • Swelling in stomach, stomach pain, gas, constipation, upset stomach, throwing up
  • Dry mouth
  • Burning feeling in mouth, changes in taste
  • Fever, pain
  • Feeling very sleepy or having trouble falling asleep
  • Worsening asthma, wheezing, or trouble breathing
  • Less feeling in your throat
  • Anemia (low red blood cells), low platelets (can cause bruising and bleeding easily)
  • Swelling (edema), high blood pressure, heart problems, or heart attack
  • Liver inflammation (hepatitis)
  • Severe skin problems like blistering (e.g., Stevens-Johnson syndrome)
  • Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, tongue, or throat, trouble breathing, fast heartbeat, or very low blood pressure.
  • Allergic reactions like redness, swelling, peeling, or sores on skin and mucous membranes, asthma, unexplained wheezing or shortness of breath, itching, runny nose, or rash.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to flurbiprofen, other NSAID pain relievers, aspirin, or any other ingredients in this spray.
  • Do not use if you have or have had stomach ulcers, bleeding in your stomach or gut, severe colon problems, or blood clotting issues from other NSAID use.
  • Do not use during the last three months of pregnancy.
  • Do not use if you have severe heart, kidney, or liver problems.
  • This medicine is not for children or teenagers under 18 years old.

  • Do not use for more than 3 days. If your sore throat gets worse or does not improve after 3 days, see a doctor.
  • Do not drink alcohol while using this spray, as it can increase the risk of stomach or intestinal bleeding.
  • Stop using and get medical help right away if you get signs of a severe allergic reaction, like swelling of your face, tongue, or throat, trouble breathing, or a rash.
