How to Use

Dosage

One lozenge as needed.

Method

Place one lozenge in your mouth and slowly suck on it. Move the lozenge around in your mouth while sucking. The effect should begin within 30 minutes. Do not take for more than 3 days without doctor's advice.

Important

Do not take more than 5 lozenges in a 24-hour period.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Dizziness, headache
  • Sore throat, mouth sores or pain
  • Unusual feelings in the mouth (like warmth, burning, tingling)
  • Nausea, diarrhea
RARE
  • Drowsiness, feeling sleepy or trouble sleeping
  • Blisters in mouth or throat, numbness or reduced sensitivity in throat
  • Stomach bloating, stomach pain, gas, constipation, indigestion, vomiting
  • Dry mouth, burning sensation in mouth, altered taste
  • Rash, itchy skin
  • Fever, pain
  • Worsening of asthma, wheezing, shortness of breath

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to flurbiprofen or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have ever had asthma, wheezing, shortness of breath, runny nose, facial swelling, or itchy rash after taking aspirin or other pain relievers (NSAIDs).
  • Do not take if you have or have had stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding.
  • Do not take if you have severe heart, kidney, or liver problems.
  • Do not take during the last 3 months of pregnancy. If you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor.

  • Stop taking this medicine and call your doctor right away if you get a skin rash, peeling skin, blisters, or other signs of an allergic reaction.
  • Tell your doctor if you notice unusual stomach issues, especially bleeding.
  • If your symptoms don't get better within 3 days, get worse, or you get new symptoms, contact your doctor.
  • Medicines containing flurbiprofen may slightly increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with high doses or long-term use. Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment time (3 days).
  • Children under 12 years old should not use this medicine.
  • Avoid alcohol while using this medicine, as it increases the risk of stomach bleeding.
  • If you feel dizzy or have vision problems, do not drive or use machines.
