How to Use
Dosage
One tablet daily.
Method
Swallow the tablet with a glass of water, preferably at the same time each day, in the morning before a meal.
Important
Do not take more than one tablet per day.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Swelling (fluid retention)
- •Nose inflammation, sore throat, nosebleeds
- •Allergic reactions (like rash, itching)
- •Headache, dizziness, tingling skin, feeling tired
- •Cough, shortness of breath
- •Stomach problems: nausea, vomiting, constipation, gas, diarrhea, stomach pain, altered taste
- •Joint pain, muscle pain, muscle spasms, back pain
- •Exhaustion, weakness
- •Swollen ankles, fast heartbeat (palpitations), flushing of face and neck
RARE
- •Sudden kidney failure
- •Dark urine, nausea or vomiting, muscle cramps, confusion and seizures (may be signs of SIADH)
- •Reduced or no urine production
- •Worsening of psoriasis
- •Unexpected bleeding or bruising
- •Bile duct blockage (yellowing of skin and eyes)
- •Tendon injury
- •Nerve disorder causing weakness, tingling, or numbness
- •Severe allergic reaction with swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat and difficulty breathing (angioedema)
- •Severe skin reactions (e.g., severe rash, hives, blistering, peeling skin, inflamed mucous membranes, Stevens-Johnson syndrome)
- •Severe muscle pain/weakness (rhabdomyolysis), especially with fever and dark urine, leading to kidney damage
- •Weakness or numbness in arms or legs, or trouble speaking (signs of stroke)
- •Severe dizziness or fainting due to very low blood pressure
- •Unusually fast or irregular heartbeat (tachycardia)
- •Chest pain (angina pectoris) or heart attack
- •Sudden wheezing, chest pressure, shortness of breath, or breathing difficulties (bronchospasm)
- •Pancreatitis (severe stomach and back pain with feeling very unwell)
- •Liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes, unexplained bleeding/bruising)
- •Erythema multiforme (red itchy spots, often on face, arms, legs)
- •Lupus-like syndrome (rash, joint pain, blood cell problems)
Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to atorvastatin, perindopril, amlodipine, or any similar medicines (statins, ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blockers), or any other ingredient in Stapressial.
- Do not take if you have liver disease or unexplained abnormal liver test results.
- Do not take if you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Do not take if you have had severe allergic reactions (angioedema) with swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing, especially after taking an ACE inhibitor.
- Do not take if you have very low blood pressure or heart shock (your heart can't pump enough blood).

- Do not take if you have diabetes or kidney problems and are taking aliskiren.
- Tell your doctor if you have unexplained muscle pain, weakness, or tenderness, especially if you also have a fever or feel unwell.
- Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice while taking Stapressial as it can increase the medicine's effect.
- Limit alcohol intake while taking this medicine.
