How to Use

Method

Take Sporanox capsules immediately after a meal. Swallow the capsules whole.

Important

Do not exceed the maximum daily dose prescribed by your doctor, which can be up to 400 mg depending on your condition.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Sporanox if you are allergic to this medicine or its ingredients.
  • Do not use Sporanox if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant. If you can become pregnant, use reliable birth control during treatment and for two months after.
  • If you have had heart problems, tell your doctor right away if you feel short of breath, gain weight, have swollen legs, feel unusually tired, or wake up at night.
  • Stop Sporanox and call your doctor immediately if you have signs of liver problems, such as loss of appetite, feeling sick, throwing up, tiredness, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes, pale poop, or very dark pee.
  • Stop Sporanox and call your doctor immediately if you feel tingling, numbness, or weakness in your arms or legs, or if you notice any hearing loss.

  • Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, as your dose might need to be changed.
  • Do not take Sporanox with certain other medicines; always tell your doctor about all medicines you are taking.
  • This medicine can make you dizzy or cause blurry vision or hearing problems. If this happens, do not drive or use machines.
