How to Use

Dosage

Apply a pea-sized amount once a day to each of the five facial areas: forehead, chin, nose, and each cheek.

Method

Spread the cream in a thin layer over the entire face. Wash your hands immediately after applying.

Important

Do not apply more than once a day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use Soolantra if you are allergic to ivermectin or any other ingredients in this medicine.
  • Some patients may experience worsening of rosacea symptoms at the beginning of treatment, but this is rare and usually improves within 1 week. Tell your doctor if this happens.
  • Soolantra is for adults and only for the face. Do not use it on other body parts, especially moist skin areas, eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. Do not swallow it.
  • Avoid contact with eyelids, lips, and all mucous membranes around the nose, mouth, and eyes. If you accidentally get cream in or near these areas, wash immediately with plenty of water.
  • Do not use cosmetics (other facial creams or makeup) before applying your daily Soolantra dose. You can use them after the cream has dried.

  • Soolantra is not recommended during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, you should not use this medicine or stop breastfeeding before starting treatment. Talk to your doctor.
  • Soolantra should not be used by children and adolescents.
  • If you have liver problems, talk to your doctor before using Soolantra.
