Solifenacin Krka helps with symptoms of an overactive bladder, such as sudden and frequent urges to urinate and urinary leakage, allowing you to wait longer between bathroom visits and increasing bladder capacity.
The recommended dose is one 5 mg tablet once a day, unless your doctor has prescribed 10 mg.
Swallow the tablet whole with liquid. You can take it with or without food; do not crush it.
Do not take more than one dose (5 mg or 10 mg) once daily as instructed by your doctor.
Avoid use in older adults. Anticholinergic. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Significant adverse effects include tachycardia, confusion and cognitive impairment.. Consider the risk of QT prolongation especially when combined with other QT-prolonging drugs. Increases risk of falls. Reduces the effectiveness of drugs for Alzheimer’s disease. (updated 25.11.2024)
