The recommended maximum daily dose is 40 ml per kg of body weight.
Possible Side Effects
COMMON
- •Slight increase in body temperature.
- •Inflammation of veins at the injection site.
RARE
- •High liver enzyme levels in the blood.
- •Loss of appetite.
- •Nausea.
- •Vomiting.
- •Chills.
- •Dizziness.
- •Headache.
- •Low or high blood pressure.
- •Shortness of breath.
- •Fast heartbeat (palpitations).
- •Allergic reactions (symptoms can include swelling, fever, low blood pressure, rash, hives, redness, headache).
- •Feelings of cold or heat.
- •Pale skin.
- •Bluish lips and skin due to low oxygen levels in the blood.
- •Neck, back, bone, chest, and lower back pain.
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredients in this medicine, or to fish, eggs, peanuts, or soy.
- Do not use if you have very high levels of fat in your blood.
- Do not use if you have severe liver problems.
- Do not use if you have problems with blood clotting.
- Do not use if you have severe kidney disease and are not on dialysis.
