How to Use

Dosage

Usually 1 sachet (75 mg tramadol hydrochloride and 25 mg dexketoprofen) every 8 hours.

Method

Dissolve the entire contents of one sachet in a glass of water. Stir well until the granules dissolve. Drink immediately. To make the medicine work faster, take it at least 30 minutes before a meal.

Important

Do not take more than 3 sachets (225 mg tramadol hydrochloride and 75 mg dexketoprofen) per day. Treatment should not last longer than 5 days.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Feeling sick (nausea) or throwing up (vomiting)
  • Dizziness or headache
  • Stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, or digestive problems
  • Feeling tired or sleepy
  • Dry mouth or increased sweating
RARE
  • Heart problems like fast heartbeat, feeling faint, or changes in blood pressure
  • Severe allergic reactions, including swelling of the face/throat, trouble breathing, or shock
  • Stomach ulcers, bleeding in the stomach or intestines (black stool or bloody vomit)
  • Liver or kidney problems, or inflammation of the pancreas
  • Seizures, confusion, or seeing/hearing things that are not there (hallucinations)
  • Severe skin reactions with blisters or peeling (like Stevens-Johnson syndrome)
  • Breathing problems, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), or low blood cell counts

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to dexketoprofen, tramadol hydrochloride, or any other ingredient in Skudexa, or to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs).
  • Do not take if you have a stomach or bowel ulcer, bleeding in the stomach or intestines, or have had these problems before, especially if caused by other anti-inflammatory medicines.
  • Do not take if you have severe heart failure, or moderate to severe kidney or liver problems.
  • Do not take if you have asthma, asthma attacks, severe runny nose, nasal polyps, hives, swelling of the face/tongue, or wheezing after taking aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines. Also, if you have severe breathing difficulties.
  • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Do not drink alcohol while taking Skudexa, as it can make the medicine's effects stronger.
  • Do not take if you have epilepsy or seizures, have recently taken MAO inhibitors (for depression) within 14 days, are addicted to other strong pain relievers, or are severely dehydrated.
