How to Use

Dosage

100 mg film-coated tablet

Method

Take one tablet by mouth once a day, with or without food.

Important

The maximum daily dose is 100 mg.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to sitagliptin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Stop taking this medicine and call your doctor right away if you get severe, lasting stomach pain, with or without nausea and vomiting, as these can be signs of pancreatitis (inflamed pancreas).
  • Stop taking this medicine and seek immediate medical help if you experience a serious allergic reaction like rash, hives, skin peeling, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, which may cause breathing or swallowing problems.
  • If you get blisters on your skin, tell your doctor, as this could be a sign of a condition called bullous pemphigoid.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
