How to Use

Dosage

One 100 mg tablet.

Method

Take once daily by mouth, with or without food.

The typical maximum daily dose is 100 mg once daily.

Important Warnings

  • Tell your doctor if you have ever had pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), gallstones, alcoholism, or very high triglycerides, as these can increase the risk of pancreatitis.
  • Stop taking this medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe stomach pain, with or without nausea and vomiting, as these could be signs of pancreatitis.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you develop a severe allergic reaction, such as a rash, hives, skin blisters, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, which may cause difficulty breathing or swallowing.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

  • Be careful when driving or operating machinery, as dizziness or drowsiness may occur. Using this medicine with certain other diabetes medicines can cause low blood sugar, which might affect your ability to drive or use machines safely.
