How to Use
Dosage
One 100 mg tablet.
Method
Take once a day by mouth, with or without food.
Important
The maximum daily dose is 100 mg.

Important Warnings
Do not take if you are allergic to sitagliptin or any other ingredients in this medicine.
Stop taking and contact a doctor right away if you get severe, lasting stomach pain, with or without feeling sick or throwing up. This could be a sign of a serious pancreas problem.
If you get blisters on your skin, stop taking the medicine and tell your doctor. This could be a sign of a serious skin condition.
If you have a severe allergic reaction (like a rash, hives, skin peeling, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat that makes it hard to breathe or swallow), stop taking the medicine and get medical help immediately.
Tell your doctor if you have or have had kidney problems, pancreas problems, type 1 diabetes, or a condition called diabetic ketoacidosis. Also mention if you have gallstones, very high fat levels in your blood (triglycerides), or problems with alcohol, as these can increase your risk of pancreas problems.

If you take this medicine with other diabetes medicines like sulfonylurea or insulin, your blood sugar might drop too low. Your doctor may need to change the dose of those other medicines.
Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
