How to Use

Dosage

The usual recommended dose is one 100 mg film-coated tablet.

Method

Take one tablet by mouth once a day, with or without food; do not chew or crush the tablet.

The maximum daily dose is one 100 mg tablet.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Sitagliptin Aspire if you are allergic to sitagliptin or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Stop taking this medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe and persistent stomach pain, with or without nausea and vomiting, as these could be signs of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas).
  • If you notice skin blisters, stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor, as this could be a sign of a serious skin condition called bullous pemphigoid.
  • Stop taking this medicine and contact your doctor immediately if you experience a severe allergic reaction, including rash, hives, skin blistering/peeling, and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, which may cause difficulty breathing or swallowing.
  • Do not take this medicine during pregnancy.

  • Do not take this medicine if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed.
  • Children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not use this medicine.
  • If you take this medicine with a sulfonylurea or insulin, you may get low blood sugar; your doctor may need to adjust your dose of those medicines.
