How to Use
Dosage
The usual starting dose is 50 mg.
Method
Take the tablet about one hour before you plan to have sex. Swallow it whole with a glass of water.
Important
Do not take more than once a day.

COMMON

- •Allergic reaction (sudden wheezing, trouble breathing, dizziness, or swelling of face, lips, or throat)

- •Sudden decrease or loss of vision
- •Severe skin reactions (with peeling and swelling of skin, blisters in mouth, genitals, and around eyes, and fever)
- •Seizures
- •Vomiting
- •Skin rash
- •Eye irritation, red eyes, eye pain, flashes of light, bright vision, light sensitivity, or watery eyes
- •Palpitations or fast heartbeat
- •High or low blood pressure
- •Muscle pain
- •Drowsiness
- •Reduced sense of touch
- •Vertigo (spinning sensation)
- •Ringing in the ears
- •Dry mouth
- •Blocked sinuses, nasal inflammation (symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and stuffy nose)
- •Upper stomach pain or acid reflux (e.g., heartburn)
- •Blood in urine
- •Pain in arms or legs
- •Nosebleed
- •Feeling of warmth
- •Tiredness
- •Fainting
- •Stroke, heart attack, or irregular heartbeat
- •Temporary decrease in blood flow to parts of the brain
- •Tight feeling in the throat
- •Numb mouth
- •Bleeding at the back of the eye, double vision, reduced sharpness of vision, abnormal sensation in the eye, swelling of the eye or eyelid, small spots in vision, halos around lights, dilated pupils, or discoloration of the white of the eye
- •Bleeding from the penis
- •Blood in semen
- •Dry nose
- •Swelling inside the nose
- •Irritability
- •Sudden decrease or loss of hearing
Important Warnings
- Do not take if you are allergic to sildenafil or any other ingredients in this medicine.
- Do not take if you are using nitrate medicines for chest pain, as this can dangerously lower your blood pressure.
- Do not take if you are using riociguat for high blood pressure in the lungs.
- Do not take if you have severe heart or liver problems, or if you recently had a stroke, heart attack, or have low blood pressure.
- If you experience sudden blurred vision or loss of sight, stop using and contact a doctor immediately.

Use in Elderly Patients
Category C
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Reduce the dose in liver impairment. Significant adverse reactions include hypotension, ortostatic hypotension, headache and visual disturbances. Consider potential interactions especially with nitrates. (updated 25.11.2024)
