How to Use
Dosage
The recommended starting dose is 50 mg.
Method
Take one tablet whole with a glass of water about one hour before sexual activity.
Important
Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to sildenafil or any other ingredient in this medicine.
- Do not use if you are taking medicines called nitrates or nitric oxide donors (like "poppers"), as this can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
- Do not use if you are taking riociguat.
- Tell your doctor if you have severe heart or liver problems, have recently had a stroke or heart attack, or have low blood pressure.
- Tell your doctor if you have a rare inherited eye disease (like retinitis pigmentosa) or have ever lost vision due to NAION.

- Tell your doctor if you have sickle cell anemia, leukaemia, multiple myeloma, a deformed penis (like Peyronie's disease), stomach ulcers, or bleeding problems (like haemophilia).
- Stop using Sildenafil Orion and contact a doctor immediately if you experience a sudden decrease or loss of vision.
- Do not use Sildenafil Orion if you do not have erectile dysfunction.
- Do not use Sildenafil Orion at the same time as other oral or local treatments for erectile dysfunction.
- Sildenafil Orion is not for use by women.
- Do not use Sildenafil Orion at the same time as medicines for pulmonary hypertension that contain sildenafil or other PDE5 inhibitors.
- If your erection lasts for more than 4 hours, contact a doctor immediately.
- If you experience chest pain during or after sexual activity, rest and do not use nitrates. Seek medical help immediately.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (sudden wheezing, facial swelling), severe skin reactions (skin peeling, blistering), or seizures.
- Do not take more tablets than your doctor has prescribed.
Use in Elderly Patients
Category C
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Reduce the dose in severe renal impairment. Reduce the dose in liver impairment. Significant adverse reactions include hypotension, ortostatic hypotension, headache and visual disturbances. Consider potential interactions especially with nitrates. (updated 25.11.2024)
