How to Use
Dosage
The usual dose is 50 mg per day, but this can be increased by your doctor.
Method
Take the tablet once a day, either in the morning or evening, with or without food.
Important
The maximum daily dose is 200 mg.

Important Warnings
- Do not take Sertralin ratiopharm if you are allergic to sertraline or any of the other ingredients.
- Tell your doctor if you have epilepsy or a history of seizures.
- Tell your doctor if you have had thoughts of harming yourself or suicide.
Use in Elderly Patients
Category C
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Serotonergic. A significant adverse effect is low serum sodium level. Increases risk of falls. Consider potential interactions. Avoid grapefruit. (updated 12.2.2024)
