How to Use

Dosage

Adults and youth over 12 years: 3-4 lozenges daily. Children 6-12 years: 3 lozenges daily. Not for children under 6 years.

Method

Let the lozenge dissolve slowly in your mouth every 3-6 hours. Do not eat or drink for at least one hour after use. Avoid using right before or after brushing teeth.

Important

Do not exceed 4 lozenges per day for adults and youth, and 3 lozenges per day for children 6-12 years.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Hives
  • Increased skin sensitivity to sunlight
  • Sudden narrowing of airways (bronchospasm)
  • Local irritation in the mouth
  • Burning sensation in the mouth
  • Allergic reaction
  • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) with symptoms like breathing difficulties, chest pain, dizziness, severe itching, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat
  • Numbness in the mouth lining

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride, cetylpyridinium chloride, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • This medicine is not for children under 6 years old.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates (like aspirin) or other NSAID pain relievers.
  • Use with caution if you have or have had asthma.
  • Do not use if you have open wounds or sores in your mouth or throat, for example, after a tooth extraction.

  • Do not use for more than 7 days. If symptoms worsen or don't improve after 3 days, or if you develop fever, contact a doctor.
  • Stop using and contact a doctor if you develop irritation or sensitivity from long-term use.
  • Do not use with toothpaste or other antiseptics at the same time.
  • Do not take with milk as it can reduce the effect.
  • Not recommended during pregnancy. Discuss with your doctor if you are breastfeeding.
  • Contains sodium benzoate, benzyl alcohol, and limonene, which may cause irritation or allergic reactions. If you have a sugar intolerance, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have liver/kidney disease, consult your doctor.
