How to Use

Dosage

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 3-4 lozenges per day.

Method

Let the lozenge dissolve slowly in your mouth, 3-6 hours apart.

Important

Do not take more than 4 lozenges in 24 hours.

Possible Side Effects

RARE
  • Hives (itchy rash), increased skin sensitivity to sunlight.
  • Sudden tightening of the airways in the lungs.
  • Local irritation, burning, or numbness in the mouth.
  • Allergic reaction.
  • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) with symptoms like trouble breathing, chest pain or tightness, dizziness, severe itching or raised skin bumps, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat; can be life-threatening.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use for more than 7 days. If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days, or if you get other symptoms like fever, contact your doctor.
  • Long-term use can cause sensitivity. If this happens, stop using and contact your doctor.
  • Do not take with milk, as milk reduces the effect of the lozenges.
  • Do not take just before, during, or after eating or drinking. Wait at least one hour after taking the lozenge before eating or drinking.
  • Do not use just before or after brushing your teeth.

  • Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine hydrochloride, cetylpyridinium chloride, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • This medicine should not be given to children under 6 years of age.
  • Not recommended during pregnancy. Consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding.
  • Be careful if you are allergic to salicylates (like aspirin) or other anti-inflammatory pain medicines. This product is not recommended then.
  • If you have or have had asthma, use with caution.
