Sendolor is a strong pain medicine containing morphine, used to treat severe acute pain, cancer-related pain, and breakthrough pain in cancer.
For adults, the typical dose is 2.5–15 mg intravenously over 4–5 minutes, or 5–20 mg subcutaneously or intramuscularly (usually 10 mg) every 4 hours as needed. For epidural injection, the initial dose is 5 mg, with an additional 1–2 mg after one hour if needed.
Sendolor is given as an injection into a vein (intravenously), under the skin (subcutaneously), into a muscle (intramuscularly), or into the epidural space (around the spinal cord).
Your doctor will determine your maximum daily dose based on your needs.
