Sendolor contains morphine, a strong pain reliever, used for severe acute pain, cancer-related pain, and breakthrough cancer pain.
Your doctor will determine your exact dose based on your pain and other factors. Typical doses for adults are 2.5-15 mg intravenously or 5-20 mg (usually 10 mg) subcutaneously or intramuscularly.
Sendolor is given as an injection into a vein, under the skin, or into a muscle. It can also be given as an infusion into the epidural space or intrathecally (into the spinal fluid).
The maximum daily dose is determined by your doctor and depends on the administration method, typically not exceeding 10 mg per day for epidural use, but can be higher for other methods under medical supervision.
