How to Use

Dosage

One patch at a time.

Method

Apply one patch to clean, dry, hairless skin behind your ear about 5-6 hours before your journey. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying and removing the patch.

Important

Use only one patch at a time. One patch provides protection for up to 3 days.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Dry mouth.
  • Drowsiness, dizziness.
  • Blurred (near) vision and dilated pupils (sometimes in only one eye).
  • Difficulty focusing on near or far objects.
  • Eyelid irritation.
  • Skin irritation.
RARE
  • Changes in vision and increased pressure in the eye (possible signs of glaucoma).
  • Difficulty urinating.
  • Memory or concentration problems, restlessness, confusion, or hallucinations.
  • Rash.
  • Application site reactions, such as itching, redness, and burning.
  • Restlessness, coordination problems, and headache.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to scopolamine or have glaucoma (a serious eye condition).
  • Talk to your doctor if you have stomach, bowel, or urination problems, liver or kidney issues, or if you are over 65 years old.
  • Tell your doctor if you have eye pain, blurred vision, or epilepsy.
  • If you feel confused or see things that are not there (hallucinations), remove the patch immediately and contact a doctor.
  • Side effects can occur up to 24 hours after the patch has been removed.

  • Remove the patch before medical imaging tests (like MRI scans).
  • Not for children under 10 years old.
  • Avoid alcohol while using this medicine.
  • This medicine can cause drowsiness, confusion, and vision problems that may affect your ability to drive or use machines.

Use in Elderly Patients

Category D

Avoid use in older adults. Anticholinergic. Consider potential adverse effects, such as tachycardia, confusion and cognitive impairment. Reduces the effectiveness of drugs for Alzheimer’s disease. (updated 20.5.2024)
