How to Use

Dosage

Typically, use the ointment once or twice daily, and one suppository once a day or every other day.

Method

Clean the anal area well. Apply a pea-sized amount of ointment with your finger around the anus or use the applicator for internal use. Insert the suppository deep into the rectum after a bowel movement.

Important

Do not use the ointment more than four times a day, or suppositories more than three times a day. The treatment should not last longer than four weeks.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine.

  • If you have a fungal infection, Scheriproct Neo should be used with antifungal medicine.
  • Be careful not to get the medicine in your eyes. Wash your hands thoroughly after each use.
  • This medicine may damage latex products (like condoms), reducing their effectiveness in preventing pregnancy or STDs. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid long-term use of Scheriproct Neo. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines, especially certain HIV medicines, as they may increase the effects of Scheriproct Neo.
