How to Use

Dosage

Insert one suppository deep into the rectum once daily. For very painful cases, use 2-3 suppositories on the first day. When symptoms improve, one suppository every other day is often sufficient.

Method

Clean the anal area thoroughly and insert the suppository after a bowel movement. If the suppository has softened, harden it in cold water before opening the wrapper.

Important

Treatment should not exceed 4 weeks.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to the active substances or any other ingredient, or if you have a skin infection (like tuberculosis, syphilis) or a viral disease (like cowpox or chickenpox) in the treated area.
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken other medicines, even those without a prescription.
  • Some medicines, such as certain HIV medications (e.g., ritonavir, cobicistat), can increase the effects of Scheriproct Neo, and your doctor may want to monitor you closely.
  • If you have a fungal infection, Scheriproct Neo treatment must be combined with antifungal medication.
  • Be careful not to get the medicine in your eyes. Wash your hands thoroughly after each application.

  • Avoid using Scheriproct Neo with latex products (like condoms) in the same treatment area, as the medicine can damage them and make them less effective at preventing pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections.
  • Consult a doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.
  • Local corticosteroid treatments should not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid long-term Scheriproct Neo treatment.
