How to Use

Dosage

Your doctor will determine your exact dose based on your weight and medical condition. Always follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Method

Take your daily dose split into two parts. Remove capsules from the blister and swallow them whole with water.

Important

Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor. A dose that is too high can harm your kidneys.

RARE
  • Brain problems with symptoms like sudden seizures, confusion, disorientation, vision problems, or weakness.
  • Rash
  • Generalized swelling
  • Weight gain
  • Low red blood cell or platelet count, which can increase bleeding risk
  • Nerve problems with numbness or tingling in fingers and toes
  • Pancreatitis with severe upper abdominal pain
  • Muscle weakness, loss of muscle strength, muscle pain in legs or arms or elsewhere in the body
  • Red blood cell breakdown leading to kidney problems, with symptoms like swelling or reduced urination.
  • Changes in menstrual cycle, breast enlargement in men
  • Swelling at the back of the eye, possibly with increased pressure in the head and vision problems
  • Severe liver problems, including yellowing of skin/eyes, nausea, loss of appetite, dark urine, or swelling.
  • Bleeding under the skin, purple spots, or sudden bleeding without clear cause.
  • Migraine or severe headache, often with nausea and sensitivity to light.
  • Pain in shins and legs
  • Hearing loss

Important Warnings

  • This medicine weakens your immune system, increasing your risk of infections (like fever or sore throat) and certain cancers, especially skin cancer.
  • Limit your exposure to direct sunlight and UV radiation; wear protective clothing and use high-factor sunscreen.
  • Tell your doctor immediately if you have kidney or liver problems, or if your blood pressure rises. Your doctor will monitor these.
  • Do not take this medicine with grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as they can affect how it works.
  • Inform your doctor about all other medicines you are taking, especially St. John's Wort, blood thinners, or blood pressure medicines. Also, mention any history of alcohol problems or epilepsy.
