How to Use
Dosage
The usual dose is 2.5 mg up to 4 times a day, which can be increased to 5 mg up to 4 times a day if needed.
Method
You take this medicine using a nebulizer, which turns it into a fine mist that you breathe in through a face mask or mouthpiece. Do not swallow the liquid.
Important
The maximum daily dose is 5 mg four times a day.

COMMON
- •shaking
- •headache
RARE
- •faster or stronger heartbeat (palpitations)
- •mouth and throat irritation
- •muscle cramps
- •low potassium level in the blood
- •increased blood flow to arms and legs
- •changes in sleep or behavior, like restlessness and agitation
- •lactic acidosis (too much lactic acid in the blood)
- •chest pain from heart problems
Important Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to salbutamol or any other ingredients in this medicine.
- If your breathing gets worse or you start wheezing more right after taking this medicine, stop using it immediately and call your doctor.
- Be careful not to get the medicine or mist in your eyes.
- Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, or heart problems.
- Do not use the medicine if it has changed color.
