How to Use

Dosage

One tablet once a day.

Method

Take the tablet preferably in the morning before a meal. Swallow with a glass of water.

Important

The maximum daily dose is one tablet.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Dizziness, headache, tingling, or numbness.
  • Vision changes, including double vision.
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
  • Weakness due to low blood pressure.
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea) or cough.
  • Digestive problems such as dry mouth, changes in taste, stomach pain, heartburn, loss of appetite, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, or constipation.
  • Allergic reactions like skin rash or itching.
  • Muscle pain or muscle cramps.
  • Feeling tired.
RARE
  • Higher levels of certain white blood cells (eosinophils).
  • Changes in lab results like high potassium (returns to normal after stopping treatment) or low sodium (can cause dehydration and low blood pressure).
  • Very low blood sugar (in people with diabetes).
  • Mood changes, sleep problems, or depression.
  • Drowsiness or fainting.
  • Pounding heart (palpitations) or fast heart rate.
  • Inflammation of blood vessels (vasculitis).
  • Hives (urticaria), purplish skin spots (purpura), or blisters.
  • Kidney disease.
  • Impotence (difficulty getting or keeping an erection).
  • Sweating or skin reactions to sunlight.
  • Chest pain, feeling unwell (malaise), swelling in limbs, or fever.
  • Falls.
  • Worsening of psoriasis.
  • Dark urine, nausea or vomiting, confusion, or seizures (signs of SIADH).
  • Redness or flushing.
  • Severe abdominal pain (pancreatitis).
  • Reduced or no urine output or acute kidney failure.
  • Lowered blood cell counts (white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin).
  • Nerve damage in limbs (numbness) or memory loss.
  • Heart and circulation problems like irregular heartbeat, chest pain, or heart attack.
  • Eosinophilic pneumonia (a rare type of lung inflammation) or rhinitis (blocked or runny nose).

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Roxiper if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or if you have a history of severe allergic reactions (angioedema), which causes swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat and difficulty breathing.
  • Do not take Roxiper if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant during treatment, stop immediately and tell your doctor.
  • Stop Roxiper and call your doctor right away if you get unusual or long-lasting muscle pain, especially if you also feel sick or have a fever. This could be a sign of serious muscle damage.
  • If you are taking fusidic acid for an infection, you must stop Roxiper temporarily. Your doctor will tell you when it's safe to start taking Roxiper again.
  • If you have changes in your vision or eye pain while taking Roxiper, stop the medicine and see a doctor right away. This could be a sign of a serious eye condition.

  • Stop Roxiper and get urgent medical help if you get severe skin reactions like a widespread rash, fever, or swollen lymph nodes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome or DRESS syndrome).
