How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet once a day.

Method

Take the tablet in the morning before food with a glass of water.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Dizziness, headache, spinning sensation, tingling or numbness.
  • Vision problems, including double vision.
  • Ringing in the ears.
  • Weakness due to low blood pressure.
  • Shortness of breath, cough.
  • Digestive issues such as dry mouth, taste changes, stomach pain, indigestion, loss of appetite, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, constipation.
  • Allergic skin reactions like rash and itching.
  • Muscle pain, muscle cramps.
  • Feeling tired.
  • Low potassium in the blood.
  • Diabetes (more likely if you have high blood sugar, high fat levels, are overweight, or have high blood pressure).
RARE
  • Mood swings, sleep disturbances, depression, drowsiness, fainting.
  • Palpitations (awareness of heartbeats), fast heart rate, chest pain, inflammation of blood vessels.
  • Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat with difficulty breathing (angioedema), hives, red skin spots, or blisters.
  • Kidney disease, inability to get or keep an erection.
  • Sweating, increased skin sensitivity to sunlight.
  • Joint pain, muscle pain, general feeling of being unwell, swelling in the limbs, fever.
  • Increased levels of urea and creatinine in blood, falls.
  • Worsening of psoriasis.
  • Dark urine, nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps, confusion, and seizures, which can be signs of SIADH (a hormone imbalance).
  • Low chloride or magnesium in the blood, redness or flushing.
  • Severe stomach pain (inflammation of the pancreas), abnormal liver tests (increased liver enzymes, bilirubin), lupus-like syndrome (rash, joint pain, blood cell effects).
  • Muscle damage, including muscle breakdown, reduced or no urine production, acute kidney failure.
  • Decreased white blood cells, anemia (decreased red blood cells), decreased hemoglobin, decreased platelets, high calcium in the blood.
  • Nerve damage in arms and legs (like numbness), memory loss, heart and circulation problems (irregular heartbeat, chest pain, heart attack).
  • Eosinophilic lung inflammation (a rare type of lung inflammation), runny or blocked nose, abnormal liver function, liver inflammation (hepatitis), yellowing of skin and eyes (jaundice).
  • Severe skin reactions, including red itchy patches, blisters, and sores in the mouth, throat, nose, genitals, and eyes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), breast enlargement in men.
  • Muscle weakness, including in breathing muscles (myasthenia gravis) or eye muscles (ocular myasthenia), nearsightedness, blurred vision, worsening vision or eye pain due to high pressure in the eye (glaucoma).
  • Persistent muscle weakness, tendon damage, abnormal EKG, life-threatening irregular heartbeat, color changes, numbness, and pain in fingers or toes (Raynaud's phenomenon).

Important Warnings

  • Do not take Roxiper if you are allergic to rosuvastatin, perindopril, indapamide, other ACE inhibitors, sulfonamides, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Stop taking Roxiper and see a doctor right away if you develop severe skin reactions like widespread rash, fever, or swelling of lymph nodes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome or DRESS).
  • If you or a family member have had severe swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat (angioedema) with difficulty breathing or swallowing, especially if related to previous ACE inhibitor treatment, do not take Roxiper.
  • Do not take Roxiper if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant, stop taking the medicine immediately and tell your doctor.
  • Do not take Roxiper if you have severe kidney disease, reduced blood flow to your kidneys, liver disease, or brain problems caused by liver disease.

  • Do not take Roxiper if you have low potassium levels in your blood.
  • Do not take Roxiper if you are taking medicines containing sacubitril/valsartan (for heart failure) or aliskiren (for high blood pressure, if you have diabetes or kidney problems), or sofosbuvir/velpatasvir/voxilaprevir (for hepatitis C).
  • If you have repeated or unexplained muscle pain, especially if accompanied by fever or feeling unwell, stop taking Roxiper and contact your doctor immediately.
