How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose is one tablet once a day.

Method

Take the tablet by mouth with a glass of water, preferably in the morning before a meal.

Important

Do not take two doses on the same day.

COMMON
  • Swelling (fluid retention)
  • Dizziness, headache
  • Tiredness
  • Palpitations (feeling your own heartbeat)
  • Low blood pressure, flushing
  • Cough, shortness of breath
  • Stomach problems (like nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation)
  • Allergic skin reactions (like rash, itching)
  • Vision problems (like double vision)
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Muscle pain, muscle cramps
  • Drowsiness
RARE
  • Increased liver enzyme levels in blood tests
  • Dark urine, nausea, vomiting, and muscle cramps
  • Pancreatitis (severe stomach pain)
  • Severe allergic reactions (facial swelling, breathing difficulties, severe itching)
  • Muscle damage (muscle pain, aches, weakness)
  • Kidney damage (reduced urine output)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to this medicine or any of its ingredients.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat (angioedema).
  • Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Tell your doctor if you have severe liver or kidney problems.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had unexplained muscle pain or aches.
