How to Use

Dosage

Take one tablet once a day.

Method

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, preferably in the morning before a meal.

Important

Do not take more than one tablet per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Swelling (fluid retention)
  • Diabetes (doctor will monitor blood sugar)
  • Dizziness, headache, spinning sensation, tingling, drowsiness
  • Palpitations (awareness of heartbeat), low blood pressure, flushing
  • Cough, shortness of breath
  • Stomach problems (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, indigestion, taste changes)
  • Allergic reactions (skin rash, itching)
  • Vision problems (including double vision)
  • Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
  • Muscle pain, muscle cramps
  • Feeling tired, weakness
RARE
  • Mood changes, depression, trouble sleeping (insomnia, nightmares)
  • Nervous system issues (tremor, numbness, memory loss, fainting, nerve damage in arms or legs)
  • Heart and circulation problems (fast or irregular heartbeat, chest pain, heart attack, inflamed blood vessels, cold/numb fingers or toes)
  • Breathing problems (wheezing, shortness of breath, lung inflammation, runny nose, dry mouth)
  • Severe skin reactions (rashes, blisters, peeling skin, severe itching, hair loss, increased sweating, sensitivity to sun, swelling of face/tongue/throat/lips)
  • Kidney and urination problems (kidney issues, decreased urine, frequent urination at night)
  • Muscle and joint problems (pain, weakness, cramps, muscle damage, joint pain, back pain, tendon damage, general muscle weakness)
  • Severe stomach and digestive problems (severe stomach pain, inflamed stomach lining, swollen gums)
  • Liver problems (inflammation of the liver, yellow skin or eyes)
  • Blood sugar issues (too much sugar in blood, very low blood sugar in diabetics)
  • Changes in blood test results (e.g., potassium, sodium, liver enzymes, blood cells)
  • Erectile dysfunction, breast pain or enlargement in men
  • Weight changes (gain or loss), falls, general feeling of being unwell, fever
  • Lupus-like symptoms (rash, joint pain)
  • Confusion, seizures, dark urine

Important Warnings

  • Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
  • Do not take this medicine if you have ever had a severe allergic reaction (like swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or trouble breathing) to medicines called ACE inhibitors.
  • Do not take this medicine if you have severe kidney or liver disease.
  • Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Stop taking this medicine and tell your doctor right away if you get swelling in your face, lips, tongue, or throat, or if you have trouble swallowing or breathing. This is a serious allergic reaction called angioedema.

  • Stop taking this medicine and tell your doctor right away if you get unexplained muscle pain or weakness that doesn't go away, especially if you also feel unwell or have a fever.
  • Your doctor will check your liver with blood tests before and during treatment.
