This medicine helps manage Parkinson's disease symptoms by acting like dopamine in the brain.
Start with 2 mg once daily for the first week, then your doctor may increase it to 4 mg once daily from the second week; dosage will be adjusted for older patients.
Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not break, chew, or crush it.
The maximum daily dose for some patients can be up to 24 mg.
