This medicine treats Parkinson's disease by working like a natural brain chemical called dopamine.
Start with 2 mg once daily for the first week. Your doctor may increase it to 4 mg once daily from the second week. Doses are adjusted to what works best, up to 24 mg daily.
Take once daily at the same time. Swallow the whole tablet with water. Do not split, chew, or crush.
The maximum daily dose can be up to 24 mg, as determined by your doctor.
