Ropinirol Krka is used to treat Parkinson's disease by mimicking a natural brain chemical called dopamine to relieve symptoms.
Start with 2 mg once daily for the first week. Your doctor may increase your dose to 4 mg daily from the second week. Your dose will be adjusted to suit you, up to a maximum of 24 mg daily.
Take Ropinirol Krka once a day at the same time each day. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. DO NOT break, chew, or crush the tablets.
The maximum daily dose is 24 mg. Do not take more than your doctor prescribes.
Suitable for older adults, with specific precautions. Sedative. Common adverse effects include orthostatic hypotension, confusion, sudden episodes of deep sleep, impulse control disorders and lower limb edema.. . (updated 6.10.2025)
