How to Use

Dosage

Adults: 15 ml 3-4 times daily. Children 6–12 years: 7.5 ml 3–4 times daily as needed. Children 2–6 years: 3.75 ml 3–4 times daily as needed. Children under 2 years: Only as directed by a doctor.

Method

You can take this medicine on an empty stomach or with food.

Important

Adults: Maximum 60 ml per day. Children 6–12 years: Maximum 30 ml per day. Children 2–6 years: Maximum 15 ml per day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to dextromethorphan or any other ingredient.
  • Do not use if you have taken certain medicines for depression (MAO inhibitors) in the last two weeks or are taking them now.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking other medicines for depression, heart problems, fungal infections, mental illness, stomach acid, HIV, or weight loss, as this medicine may cause serious interactions.
  • Do not use if you have severe liver problems, asthma, or severe breathing difficulties.
  • This medicine can cause dependence; use only for short periods.

  • Do not use with cough medicines that loosen phlegm, as it can cause dangerous mucus buildup.
  • Be cautious if the child has atopic dermatitis, as this medicine may worsen allergic symptoms.
