How to Use

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Fast heart rate
  • Low blood pressure
  • The medicine not working enough or too much
  • Pain at the injection site
  • Redness or itching at the injection site
  • Prolonged muscle relaxation caused by the medicine
  • Delayed recovery from anesthesia
RARE
  • Severe allergic reactions (difficulty breathing, changes in blood pressure/heart rate, shock, skin reactions like swelling, redness, or rash)
  • Severe and prolonged muscle spasms in the airways, causing breathing problems (bronchospasm)
  • Muscle weakness or paralysis
  • Sudden swelling of the skin or mucous membranes (e.g., throat or tongue), with breathing problems and/or itching or rash (angioedema)
  • Facial swelling (edema)
  • Airway problems caused by the anesthetic
  • Rash, sometimes with severe itching and hives
  • Skin redness
  • Flushing
  • Severe allergic coronary artery spasm (Kounis syndrome) causing chest pain or heart attack
  • Dilated pupils (mydriasis) or fixed pupils that do not change size with light or other stimuli

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to rocuronium bromide or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor about any allergies to other muscle relaxants.
  • Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, gallbladder, heart, nerve or muscle disease, swelling, or a history of malignant hyperthermia.
