Rimapen is an antibiotic for tuberculosis that stops bacteria from growing and is always used with other tuberculosis medicines.
Adults typically take 600 mg once daily. For children over 3 months, the dose depends on weight, usually 10-20 mg/kg once daily or 15 mg/kg three times a week.
Take the tablet with a glass of water on an empty stomach, at least 2 hours after a meal and 1 hour before the next meal. Take it regularly at the same time each day as directed by your doctor.
The maximum daily dose is 600 mg.
