How to Use

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults and children 12 years and older is one 20 mg tablet once a day.

Method

Take the tablet by mouth with a glass of water. You should take it one hour before eating or drinking fruit juice, or two hours after. The tablet can be split if you find it hard to swallow whole.

Important

Do not take more than one 20 mg tablet (20 mg total) in a single day.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to bilastine or any other ingredient.
  • Talk to your doctor before use if you have kidney problems, low levels of potassium, magnesium, or calcium in your blood, heart rhythm problems, a very slow heartbeat, or if you are taking other medicines that can affect your heart rhythm.
  • Do not take this medicine with food, grapefruit juice, or other fruit juices, as this can make it less effective.
  • Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years old.
  • Do not take more than the recommended dose. If your symptoms do not improve after 3 days, or if they get worse, contact your doctor.

  • Stop taking this medicine and get medical help right away if you have signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as trouble breathing, dizziness, fainting, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or a red, swollen rash on your skin.
  • Do not use this medicine for more than 10 days without a doctor's advice.
