How to Use

Dosage

For adults, the recommended dose is 10 ml.

Method

Take this medicine orally, 3-4 times a day, as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Important

The maximum daily dose for adults is 40 ml.

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to dextromethorphan or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have a hereditary fructose intolerance.
  • Do not take if you are taking or have taken MAO inhibitors (medicines for depression or Parkinson's disease) in the last two weeks.
  • Talk to your doctor before taking if you have severe liver or breathing problems.
  • Do not use for chronic cough (like from asthma) or a cough with a lot of mucus; ask your doctor for advice.

  • For children with allergies, talk to a doctor before giving Resilar, as it might make allergies worse in rare cases.
  • Do not use for more than two weeks. If you don't feel better, see a doctor.
  • This medicine can cause dependence, so use it only for a short time.
  • Avoid alcohol while using this medicine, as it can make side effects stronger.
  • If you take certain antidepressants or mental health medicines, Resilar can cause serious side effects like confusion, seeing or hearing things that aren't real, fast heart rate, or fever over 38°C. Contact a doctor immediately if you have these symptoms.
  • Using Resilar with sedatives (medicines that make you sleepy) can be dangerous and cause severe drowsiness, breathing problems, or even coma. Your doctor will carefully decide if you need to take them together.
